Molybdenum Rods

Descriptions:

We produce molybdenum rods from powder to finished products.

Based on different content, we can offer pure molybdenum rods, TZM molybdenum rods and molybdenum lanthanum rods. Normally for pure molybdenum rods, we can offer purity above 99.95%. For MoLa rods, lanthanum content can be varied based on customers’ requirements. La content is usually from 0.4% to 1.2%. TZM containing 0.4~0.6Ti, 0.07~0.12Zr, and 0.01~0.05C. With different additive, the properties are different.

Properties of Molybdenum Rods:

l  High melting point and good corrosion resistance

l  Perfect creep resistance and high purity

l  Low thermal expansion and excellent thermal conductivity

l  Easy to machine

Surfaces of Molybdenum Rods:

We can offer sintered surface, forged surface and polished surface.

For sintered surface and forged surface, we also can give two states. One is black. The other is cleaned. Black means there is oxidation layer on the surface. And for cleaned one, there is no oxidation layer.
